Pebble Hammered Necklace, Organic Sterling Silver Pendant, Zero Waste Jewellery Recycled, UK

This sterling silver hammered pebble pendant forms part of my Zero Waste collection and is a simple modern necklace perfect for everyday use.

The pendant is made by melting recycled sterling silver and forging it into a pebble shape. It is then sanded, polished and gently hammered which creates a texture that catches the light beautifully. Two small rings are then attached to the pendant which then hangs on an 18inch sterling silver chain.

The back of the pebble has a lovely organic look that occurs because of the way the silver melts, I have left this as it is an an extra feature.

The small pendant hangs on a small belcher chain and the larger pendant hangs on a larger trace chain and you can choose to have either the shiny silver finish or the oxidised finish for an edgier look.

The small pebble will measure approximately 10mm (excluding the bail) and the medium pebble approximately 15mm (excluding the bail). However, due to the nature of hand made items no two will ever by the same, your pendant will be unique to you. Slight differences in size, shape and surface texture are to be expected.

The oxidised (black/grey) finish is achieved by applying a specialist liquid to the silver so can be any colour from black to grey. However, this finish can fade over time. To prolong this finish it is advisable to not expose the jewellery to cosmetics, perfume, body lotions or oils.
