Mussel necklace

I found this gorgeous little mussel shell whilst wandering the beaches of Looe in Cornwall and decided it was too pretty not to be cast into silver.
Each mussel shows fantastic details and textures of the shell, the shell measures 16.2 by 35.2 mm at its widest points and weighs 9g (without the necklace) so is a good substantial weight, the mussel comes on an 18 inch sterling silver chain.
Item has been tumbled for several hours to harden the silver and to give it a high shine.
