King Robin Bird Tree Decoration Sterling Silver UK Hallmarked

£65.00

What better way to celebrate Christmas than with your own special sterling silver Christmas tree decoration that will adorn your tree year after year as a special keepsake.

My best selling robin has had a makeover this year in celebration of our new King and he has decided he wants to be a King himself!

My chunky robin has been cast from solid sterling silver and a little crown has been soldered on to his head in a quirky style, he has been finished to a high shine by hand and is now ready to adorn your tree and become a beautiful and stunning addition to your Christmas decorations.

A perfect addition for your tree for anyone who loves nature, birds or even the Royal Family!!

The Robin is a wonderful little bird who is synonymous with Christmas and has both spiritual and symbolic meaning attached to them.

The robin and crown measures 18mm in height by 25mm in length and because the robin is made from solid sterling silver (not hollow) it is a good chunky weight of 9.75g but he sits wonderfully on your tree branches.

Photo 2 shows him sitting on a UK 10 pence piece for size reference.

In the 1880s Victorian postmen were nicknamed “robins” after the familiar red-breasted bird because of their red uniforms and at Christmas, people eagerly awaited the arrival of cards from loved ones far and wide – delivered by their own local “robins.”

‘King Robin’ is fully hallmarked by the London Assay Office and he comes in a beautiful branded jewellery box wrapped with ribbon.
